Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Ain Shams University received students applying on the Zahra website to reside in the university cities of Ain Shams University, in order to vaccinate them with the anti-Covid-19 vaccine.
Students were received at the medical center in the university city in Abbasiya, and two vaccination points were provided, one for female students and the other for male students, and outdoor waiting areas were allocated for students' parents.
A medical team from university hospitals under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Samia Abdo, Deputy Director of University Hospitals and Director of Infection Control by vaccinating students and ensuring their safety amid strict precautionary and preventive measures, and the university city is scheduled to continue to receive students to vaccinate them successively under the supervision of a. Muhammad Al-Khatib, Assistant Secretary-General for Education and Student Affairs, and a. Ibrahim Saeed, General Supervisor of the University Cities Sector, in implementation of the university president’s decision that all employees of Ain Shams University should be vaccinated before the start of the new academic year in early October.
