Prof. Dr. Khaled Kadri, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Ain Shams University, announced that the impact factor of the Scientific Journal of Economics and Commerce in the faculty had increased for the second year in the Arab ARCIF Impact Factor and Citations in the 2021 report, which achieved an impact factor of 0.1212 compared to the impact factor of 0.1039 for the last year to occupy the high middle category (Q2) and that under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research.
It was explained by Prof. Dr. Haiam Wahba, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs and Editor-in-Chief of the Scientific Journal of Economics and Trade, said that this achievement came after a great effort to include the journal on the Egyptian Knowledge Bank (EKB) and the evaluation of the journal by the Supreme Council of Universities for refereed scientific journals to take 6.5 out of a total of 7 degrees.
She added that the Scientific Journal of Economics and Commerce is a specialized and refereed quarterly scientific journal to publish scientific research in the disciplines of: accounting, economics, management and statistics, and their relationship to innovation management and sustainable development, in both Arabic and English.
It is worth noting that ARCIF laboratories have worked on examining and studying the data of more than 5100 scientific Arab journals in various disciplines issued by more than 1,400 scientific institutions in 20 Arab countries, and only 877 scientific journals succeeded to be accredited within the international standards of ARCIF laboratories according to the report issued in 2021.
