During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh said that the previously signed cooperation protocol aims to effectively link the academic sector with the labor market at the level of many sectors, which contributes significantly to finding non-traditional solutions to a large number of problems, as well as the advancement and development of entrepreneurship.
During the meeting, the requirements of the University’s Employment Center were discussed at the level of events from the Businessmen Association, such as participating in the Businessmen Forum to meet and interact with students and recent graduates with influential expertise and experiences, and to identify the most important skills required for the labor market and discover the vision of a group of businessmen and industry and their reading of the current situation. With the creation of job and training opportunities for the youth present.
The requirements of the Employment Center were also discussed at the level of students and recent graduates of the Businessmen Association, where it was suggested that companies commit to providing training opportunities for students and graduates of Ain Shams University, and providing two opportunities for career exploration for students and university graduates, with a proposal to register and publish job opportunities on the university’s employment platform and that Companies provide discussion sessions that allow students to make scientific and career decisions while addressing the role of the Alumni Association at Ain Shams University in providing job opportunities for university graduates in cooperation with the university's Employment Center and the Businessmen Association.
The meeting also discussed the requirements for the Center for Creativity and Entrepreneurship in terms of adopting a multi-industry business incubator program with the aim of bridging the gap between academia and industry by promoting a culture of innovation and creativity on campus and supporting it to generate talent, innovations and startups needed by every labor market. Businesses and innovators from faculty members, the supporting staff, researchers and students in various fields to form their companies and work on their success.
The special requirements at the level of the Department of Education Development (scientific and academic research) were also addressed, with the aim of finding innovative research solutions to the problems facing professionals and businessmen in the labor market, and developing the scientific research system within the university to make it profitable in serving the community and improving the labor market while supporting applied research. Developing research resources and consolidating the foundations of cooperation between Ain Shams University in its various faculties with companies, factories and specialized agencies to help young researchers.
The participants confirmed that the past period has witnessed effective cooperation between the association and the various Facultys of the university, including the signing of seven cooperation protocols between the Faculty of Engineering and a number of companies with the aim of providing training courses for Faculty students, in addition to the expected cooperation with the Faculty of Agriculture, where coordination is currently taking place between the Association, the Faculty of Agriculture and the Ministry of Solidarity With the aim of participating in a decent life initiative within the framework of linking scientific research and the private sector in the development and development of the agricultural sector.
