Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, Prof. Dr. Khaled Kadry, Dean of the Faculty of Business, announced that Prof. Dr. Hiam Wahba, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, announced the start of written examination activities for new applicants to enroll in academic graduate programs during the new academic year 2021/2022 in Ain Shams trade yesterday, Sunday, October 3, 2021, with the application of all necessary precautions.
Where Prof. Dr. Hayam Wahba stated that according to the university's decision, the oral and written exams represent 30% of the total admission score, while the announced criteria and conditions for progression from the scientific departments represent 70% of the total admission scores.
Dr. Hayam Wehbe added that the proposed time plan for the oral and written examinations was previously announced, which is scheduled to be held during the first and second weeks of October.
It is scheduled to take about 120 students for the doctoral program admission exams, and 417 students for the master's exams, knowing that the admission process will depend on several criteria, the most important of which are the absorptive capacity of the specialized scientific department, as well as examination of the submitted files in addition to the result of the oral and written exams.
As for the precautionary measures applied by the College of Commerce, the number of students within each committee was reduced to maintain social distancing, and examination committees were sterilized before and after the exam, as well as emphasizing the wearing of medical masks.
It is worth mentioning that the Graduate Studies and Research Sector at the Faculty of Commerce, Ain Shams University, offers nearly 23 diplomas in the disciplines of business administration, accounting, economics, and statistics, in addition to master's and doctoral programs in the four disciplines, as well as professional programs represented in MBA and professional doctorate programs. DBA is a diploma in business administration in several disciplines, including finance and investment, business administration, human resources management, marketing, bank management, and other disciplines, in addition to the MPA program in financial accounting, costs, taxes, and auditing.
