Wednesday... The launch of the activities of the monthly seminars of IELTS test from the Faculty of Arts

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Dr. Sherin Mazloum, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Arts for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, the Faculty of Arts, in cooperation with the Scholarships Welfare Office at Ain Shams University and the British Council, is pleased to announce the holding of an educational symposium for the IELTS test, on Wednesday, October 13, at eleven o’clock in the afternoon at the Faculty of Arts Ain Shams University, the symposium will be presented by representatives of the British Council.

Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, stressed that the events of the symposium come within the interest of the university and the Faculty of Arts to increase the number of delegates applying for mission announcements in the humanities and social sciences, which the university gives a special priority during this period.

   

He added, "We are keen to present a faculty staff who is able to compete with his colleagues in the best international universities, in line with the current position of Ain Shams University among international universities in international rankings."

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty of Arts added that the symposium comes within the framework of activating the Faculty of Arts’ plan to encourage faculty members and the faculty’s supporting body to apply for scholarships in the field of humanities and social sciences because of the importance of this sector in achieving Egypt’s 2030 vision and in achieving the university’s vision to increase the number of delegates from Faculties that serve the humanities and social sciences sector in line with Ain Shams University's leading position among local and international universities.

Prof. Dr. Sherin Mazloum, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Arts for Graduate Studies and Research, confirmed that the symposium is part of a series of future symposia that deal with how to prepare to apply for various missions, such as scientific missions, joint supervision, training, and master's and doctoral scholarships.

Finally, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Sami, General Supervisor of the Scholarships Welfare Office at Ain Shams University, said that Ain Shams University pays great attention to faculty members in the faculties of humanities, social sciences and linguistics to be representatives of the university at the international level in these areas and to integrate with the world’s eminent scholars in these fields in order to achieve raising the level of the university’s global ranking In these areas, similar to the fields of applied sciences at the university.

The Scholarships Welfare Office at Ain Shams University announces the holding of a series of monthly seminars for the various colleges and institutes of the university to assist the faculty members and their assistants to prepare and prepare early to achieve the English language requirement before submitting to the various announcements submitted by the Central Administration of Scholarships.
