The Dean of the Faculty of Arts congratulates the new and old students on the new year

Prof. Dr. Mostafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, witnessed the general meeting of student families, which includes: (Family- Aswan - Momken- Start social colors- entity - a plus - Hayat- Fekra- Metro), under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.

With the aim of introducing new students to the credit hours’ system and the faculty departments on the occasion of the start of the new academic year 2021/2022, wishing all new and old students continued excellence in their studies at the faculty.

Dr. Mortada continued his speech with the faculty staff of the faculty and all employees, applying precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the new Corona virus, receiving students with thermal detectors, wearing masks, observing distance, and following up on sterilization and disinfection work for the stands, halls and laboratories.

         
   
         

The Dean of the Faculty stressed the continuation of the vaccination campaign for faculty staff, employees and students, on a daily basis in the faculty, wishing everyone continued health and wellness.

Mortada stressed that the faculty has completed all preparations for the new academic year, adding that the lecture schedules for all academic teams have been announced and published on the faculty's official page, inviting all students to actively participate in all student activities, with the aim of developing youth talents and their creativity and innovation energies. This comes from the faculty administration's belief in the importance of activities in refining the student's personality and encouraging him to engage in his small community in preparation for him to go out to practical life and participate in society more.

Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, called on family students to stand side by side with the new college students and support them with information and advice that would help put them on the right path, and encourage them to participate in the various activities carried out by student families between scientific, sports, cultural and social, and scots activities, the activities vary between holding seminars, exhibitions, competitions, and forums, and presenting workshops in all fields.

She said that participating in various student activities and choosing what each of them likes does not conflict with academic excellence, but on the contrary.

She stressed the need to adhere to receiving the vaccine in the interest of the general health of students.
