Training workshop for unit specialists to combat violence, bullying and harassment for students with special needs

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Hisham Temraz, Vice President of Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and on the occasion of the opening of the new academic year, the Anti-Violence and Harassment Unit, in cooperation with the University's Care Center for People with Special Needs, headed by Dr. Rana Al-Hilali, Director of the Center, held a workshop to train and raise the efficiency of specialists in youth welfare departments and academic support offices to receive, receive and deal with cases of violence, harassment and bullying facing people with disabilities from male and female students of the university.

         
   
         

This workshop is part of a series of workshops and services provided to people with disabilities, such as psychological and physical exercises for self-defense

Where a lecturer was presented by Prof. Dr. Abdel Wahab Gouda, former head of the Department of Sociology and Communication Skills and Communication with Students, which was presented by Dr. Ehab Abdel Rahman, lecturer at the Center for People with Special Needs, and d. Amany Abdel Aal, Clinical Psychologist, Harassment Unit.

During the workshop Prof. Dr. Hind Al-Hilali explained the role of the Anti-Harassment Unit in monitoring and preventing these cases and how to communicate with the unit.
