The student activity of SCOPS-Students' Conference on Pharmaceutical Studies of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University was ranked fifth among the student activities throughout the country. Prof. Dr. Abdul Nasser Sengab, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research and General Supervisor of SCOPS Student Activities and Conference since 2006.
He added that the participation of the SCOPS-Students' Conference was conducted through the Youth Leadership Forum (YLF) under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in collaboration with the government sector represented by the Ministry of Higher Education and some other ministries, and the private sector represented in a number of companies such as the Egyptian Iron Company, WE and Liquid telecom.
Abdul Nasser said that the competition was attended by 251 activities from various institutions and universities. After presenting the objectives of the student activity and what it offers to the society and the students, the student activity of SCOPS of the Faculty of Pharmacy won the fifth place and the financial reward of ten thousand pounds, confirming its status as one of the best student activities in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
