Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar Jumaa, Minister of Awqaf, stressed the importance of the presence of mosques in all universities, colleges and university cities to build religious awareness correctly and not to create a suitable environment to change the ideas and trends of young people and influence them by extremist groups, calling on universities to build university mosques instead of resorting to corners and rooms, and on the other hand, The Minister of Awqaf confirmed that the state, in turn, provided the vaccine and urged everyone to receive the vaccine, taking into account the legitimate reasons.
A confirmed. Dr.. Mahmoud El-Matini, President of Ain Shams University, said that the mosque will be managed by the Ministry of Endowments, as it was agreed to allocate an imam for the mosque, noting that the ground floor for male students and the upper floor for female students.
His Excellency also made it clear that the university will hold training courses for imams and preachers in the sisterly Sudan.
It is worth mentioning that the Ain Shams University Mosque, which is located behind the Faculty of Science, was supervised by the University's Engineering Consultation Center, with an area of 1,000 square meters and a capacity of 500 worshipers, and it was equipped according to the highest specifications.
