Next Monday... an introductory seminar for the scholarship program offered by the University of Chicago and Orascom Group

The Faculty of Business, Ain Shams University, is organizing an introductory symposium for the scholarship program offered by the University of Chicago for the year 2021/2022, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, Dr. Khaled Kadry, Dean of the Faculty of Business.

This was stated by Prof. Dr. Hayam Wahba, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs and Coordinator of the Agreement at the university, added that the symposium comes in light of the international cooperation agreement concluded between Ain Shams University for the Faculty of Commerce and the American University of Chicago and the Orascom Group for the fourth year, which resulted in 10 students from the Faculty of Business receiving a fully-funded scholarship to study at the University of Chicago.

The introductory seminar will be held in the presence of Prof. Dr. Dina Rashid, Assistant Dean of the University of Chicago, Prof. Heba Iskandar, Director of Community Development and Development at Sawiris Foundation and Orascom Company, Prof. Mais Abu Hegab, director of the education and scholarship sector at the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development.

The symposium will be held on Monday, November 1, at 12 noon in Prof. Dr. Ali Lotfi Hall in the faculty.
