The graduation of the 1st batch of students from the Architecture and Landscaping Program, Faculty of Engineering, and the Italian Reggio Di Calabria University

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, a delegation from the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Dr. Omar Mohamed Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty, in the presence of the Vice President of the Reggio Di Calabria University in Italy for International Relations prof. Francesco Morabito, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Adolfo Samtini, and a group of faculty staff at the Faculty of Architecture, graduation events were held for the first batch of students of the Architecture and Landscaping Program from the University of Reggio Di Calabria, where they participated in the judging of projects Graduation and handing over of 23 unique double degrees to students from the University of Reggio Di Calabria, in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Ain Shams University based on the agreement signed between the two sides.

         
   
         

The Italian side commended the distinguished academic level of Ain Shams engineering students and expressed the desire to expand the partnership between the two sides. Accordingly, it was agreed with the leaders of the Reggio Di Calabria University to activate the necessary steps to include 4 other programs in the fields of: energy, communications, information technology and manufacturing, starting from the next academic year 2022-2023, with the same advantages of dual degrees granted by both sides.

The Egyptian delegation from the Faculty of Engineering also included: Prof. Dr. Mustafa Refaat, Vice Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Khalil, Director of International Programs at the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Sami, Coordinator of Cooperation with the University of Reggio Di Calabria, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Fayoumy, Director of the Architecture and Landscaping Program.
