Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ayman Saleh, Vice-President of Ain Shams University for Graduate Studies and Research, the Faculty of Archeology, in cooperation with the French Institute of Oriental Archeology in Cairo, organized a symposium entitled “How to obtain funding for your research project”.
Prof. Dr. Mamdouh El-Damaty stated that this symposium comes within the framework of directing faculty staff, the assisting members and graduate students to more experiences and removing any obstacles they may face in preparing or financing their research projects.
Prof. Dr. Ahmad El-Shouki also confirmed that this symposium was held in the hybrid system and comes within the framework of a number of important events in cooperation with specialized foreign institutes in Egypt, led by the French Institute of Oriental Archeology to increase experiences, exchange knowledge, and to familiarize Egyptian researchers with the grants offered by these institutes for funding and study, whether in the field of archeology, history, or the humanities.
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Shoki, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdel Halim, Head of the Department of Ancient Egyptian Archeology, and Dr. Hassan Obeid, the restoration Professor in the Faculty, lectured in this symposium.
