The exhibition of essential oils for the eighth year in a row at the Faculty of Pharmacy

under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Amani Osama Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Prof. Rehab Othman, Vice Dean of Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Omaima Al-Dahshan, founder of the Essential Oils Exhibition and Head of the Pharmacology Department at the University's Faculty of Pharmacy, the Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University, organized the "Essential Oils Exhibition" for its 8th year in a row, by simultaneous transmission of today's activities via Youtube and Facebook.

         
   
         

The exhibition opened with an opening paragraph that included the recitation of the Noble Qur’an and the Republican Peace, then supportive and encouraging words from each of Prof. Dr. Amani Osama Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Rehab Othman; Vice Dean of Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdel Nasser Sanjab; Former Vice President of Ain Shams University and Head of the Drug Discovery and Development Research Center, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Samir Othman, Professor of Pharmacology, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, October 6 University, Prof. Dr. Abeer El-Sayed, Professor of Pharmacology at Cairo University, Prof. Dr. Shahira Ezzat, professor of pharmacology at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts.

It was confirmed by Prof. Dr. Amani Osama Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Ain Shams University, said that the annual exhibition of essential oils this year is characterized by transferring the third year students from the scope of the theoretical study to the actual application of various scientific and practical skills, where the students work in groups, which increases the experience of teamwork, and they are asked through this cooperation to work Posters and brochures on essential oils that treat selected diseases and the manufacture of therapeutic and preventive marketing products by using everything that students studied in previous years and its translation into natural products, in addition to making a video of 10-15 minutes containing everything presented and produced by the student group in an attractive and fun way, which increases their sense Students from different groups compete every year to always do better, beat their peers, and receive various valuable prizes presented annually by the Pharmaceutical Department to the winning groups.

       
   
       

Prof. Dr. Omaima Al-Dahshan, Head of the Department of Pharmacology at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Ain Shams University, indicated in her speech expressing her gratitude for all the elements that contributed to the success of the work, stressing the importance of student activity in a fruitful product of my information, experience and industry.

It is worth noting that many students from other universities participated with great effectiveness and unparalleled activity in the exhibition, and they are students of October 6 University under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Samir Othman, students of October University for Modern Sciences and Arts under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Shahira Ezzat, Cairo University students under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Abeer Elsayed.
