Continuation of the activities of the self-sufficiency festival for music and choir at Ain Shams University

The activities of the music and choral self-sufficiency festival for the academic year 2021/2022, which is organized by the Artistic Activity Department of the General Administration of Youth Welfare at Ain Shams University, will continue from 4-14 December 2021, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Metini, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tamer Rady, Advisor to the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Mr. Muhammad Al-Khatib, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Mr. Muhammad Al-Sharkawi, Director General of Youth Welfare.

Eleven faculties of the university participate in the festival, which is unique to Ain Shams University, two faculties in the individual and nine in the collective, and all members of the participating teams consist of students, whether in training, leadership or singing.

The festival jury is composed of Prof. Dr. Salwa Hassan, Head of the Singing Department at the Higher Institute of Conservatoire (Academy of Arts), Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Kader, international opera singer and professor of singing at the Faculty of Music Education (Helwan University), and Prof. M. Osama Ali, Professor of Musical Sciences, Faculty of Music Education (Helwan University)

The members of the jury expressed their happiness with the honorable performance presented by the university students, which won the admiration of the audience and the jury.
