Pharmaceutical work fields after graduation... Seminar at the Faculty of Pharmacy

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Amani Osama Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the university, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Maha Nasr, Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy and Director of the Department of International Relations and Academic Cooperation at the Faculty, a symposium was held on “Different fields of pharmaceutical work after graduation”, during which Dr. Samer Ahmed, Director of Wörwag Pharma Company in Germany and a graduate of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University in 2008.

         
   
         

The symposium dealt with his journey from obtaining a master’s degree in international business from Offenburg University in Germany to entering the field of pharmaceutical marketing in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Germany. The symposium included advice on studying abroad and working in the pharmaceutical industry in its various stages.

It is worth noting that the symposium came within the framework of a series of Meet our Alumni symposia held by the faculty during the academic year 2021/2022, which aims to enrich the research and knowledge experiences of faculty members and students and prepare students for the labor market considering the presence of many new fields of work.

The symposium was also shown via the zoom application by displaying it on the interactive screens in the stands, in the presence of several faculty staff and students.
