The President and Vice President of Ain Shams University honors the students participating in theatrical performances that won international awards

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, honored the distinguished students participating in theatrical performances that won international awards, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Tamer Rady, Advisor to the Vice President for Student Activities, where the students participating in the theatrical performance “Negative Zero” were honored in the 14th edition of the University Theater Festival in Tangiers, Morocco, his acting team won four prizes out of a total of eight prizes.

Where the student, Islam Khaled, the student at the Faculty of Business won the Best Actor award, and the student Layali Khalaf, the student at the Faculty of Business, won the Best Actress award in a precedent, the first of its kind in this festival, which is to get two awards for Best Actor and Best Actress for actors from the same show.

         
   
         

The theatrical show (Negative Zero) also won the award for the best show that expresses human rights, in addition to the award for the best playwriting for author Mostafa Talaat. Rasd Khan, who won the Best Theatrical Show award, and the show’s director, Karim Hamdi, won the Best Director award at the Sharm El-Sheikh International Youth Theater Festival in its sixth session in Sharm El-Sheikh. The power of God is the greatest treasure, as the show discusses the difference of the human soul.

A friendly talk between Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini and Prof. Dr. Abdul-Fattah Saoud and the students participating in the performances, where they affirmed the university administration’s full support for all talents and activities and the provision of capabilities and training to qualify them always to lead in all international forums and represent the university in a decent way.

Also Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud praised the efforts of the General Administration for Youth Welfare and the supervisors of artistic and theatrical activity under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tamer Rady, Advisor to the Vice President for Student Activities, Mr. Muhammad Al-Khatib, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Mr. Muhammad Al-Sharkawi, Director General of Youth Welfare, Mr. Mustafa Essa, Director of the Technical Activity Department, Mr. Ahmed Adel, the theater supervisor, and Mr. Abd El Fadeel.
