The Youth Welfare Department at the Faculty of Girls, Ain Shams University, organized a competition to select the ideal student from all departments of the college, where each department nominated no more than three female students.
This came under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty of Girls, Prof. Dr. Mai Helmy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Ghada Moussa, Director of Youth Welfare Department.
The jury consisted of Dr. Manar Ahmed Mohamed Al-Kadi from the Department of English and Dr. Malak Muhammad Saif Allah, from the French Language Department, in order to assess female students in different languages, Dr. Ayat Shaaban Gebril from the Department of Arabic Language and Dr. Fayrouz Hassan from the Department of Geography and specialists in history to assess the student in general information.
26 female students applied for the competition, and the jury evaluated all the participating students.
At the end of the competition, three female students were selected to be promoted in the ideal student competition at the university level.
The student Malik Muhammad Salih, fourth class, won first place, student Heba Abdel Wahab, fourth class, sciences won second place, and Shaima Khamis, fourth class chemistry student, won third place.
