In conjunction with the intention of the Faculty of Al-Alsun to launch the initiative (Give Back) under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini (University President) and Prof. D. Abdel Fattah Saoud (Vice President for Education and Student Affairs), and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad (Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun), Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, held a preparatory meeting with Prof. Dr. Nasser Abdel-Al, Vice Dean of Al-Alsun for Education and Student Affairs, and the people in charge of launching “Give Back” initiative are Dr. Radwa Imam (Assistant Professor in the German Language Department and Advisor to the Scientific Committee of the Students’ Union), Dr. Iman Saeed (Assistant Professor in the German Language Department) and Prof. Salwa Fikri (Responsible for the Scientific Committee for Youth Sponsorship at Faculty of Al-Alsun), student / Muhammad Jamal (President of the Student Union of Faculty of Al-Alsun), and student / Radwa Ahmed (Deputy Secretary of the Scientific Committee), in order to determine the current status of the initiative and intellectual and cultural communication with the people in charge of the initiative to learn about their plan to launch the initiative and the mechanisms for its implementation.

Where the “Give Back” initiative team reviewed the initiative’s objectives, which aim to translate the efforts made to achieve sustainable development within the framework of Egypt’s Vision 2030, including presenting several promotional publications and films translated in all languages ​​of the Faculty of Al-Alsun on the sustainable development work that the Egyptian state is witnessing in recent times. And work to enhance the image of the Egyptian state in the eyes of the global community and promote Egypt’s 2030 vision in all the languages ​​of the world, as well as develop the patriotic sense among students and enhance their belonging to the homeland by translating achievements into different languages, and introducing students to the importance of sustainable development, as well as the job opportunities that it provides for them in the near term. and far away.

This was initiated by Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, during his meeting with the organizers of the initiative, praising the idea of ​​the initiative and appreciating the distinguished efforts made by those in charge of it in highlighting the efforts of the Egyptian state, stressing the need to develop the idea of ​​the initiative so that it is not limited to highlighting the state’s efforts to achieve Sustainable development only, but it should extend to show the extent of development that the university is witnessing recently at the hands of the current administration of the university and to highlight the efforts made by the administration to raise the educational, construction and service level of the university and crystallize its natural position among the ranks of Egyptian, Arab and international universities, especially that this development coincides with the vision of the state in reaching sustainable development and achieving Egypt’s 2030 strategic vision

His Eminence also stressed that the development witnessed by the university represents a leap at all levels, both at the educational and scientific levels, such as the establishment of new Facilities such as the Faculty of Archeology and the introduction of new programs that meet the requirements of the labor market and the development of the Innovation Hub - or on the educational level through the development of university cities and the shift The quality that has occurred recently, whether at the level of accommodation, at the level of nutrition, or at the level of health care and services, or at the level of construction and infrastructure, represented in the development of the study halls in the various faculties and the establishment of the information technology center at the university and finally the construction of the upper bridge that connects the two campuses of the university - a Faculty campus Commerce and the main campus - to serve university students on the one hand and the ordinary public on the one hand, as well as the university’s efforts to transform into a smart & green university and establish a center of excellence for sustainability

Finally, His Excellency directed the necessity of communicating with a number of departments and centers within the university for the services it provides to the university, its students and graduates to achieve the goals of sustainable development within the framework of Egypt’s Vision 2030 and to work on translating them for dissemination in the international community in various languages such as communication with Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Banna, Director of the International Classification Office at the university, to document all the classifications in which the university has witnessed a qualitative leap, including the Impact ranking, which documents what the university offers to achieve the goals of sustainable development (SDGs) .. whose file was prepared in coordination between Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Banna and Prof. Dr. Noha Samir, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research.

As well as contact with Prof. Dr. Reem Al-Kabariti (Executive Director of the Alumni Association at Ain Shams University) to document the volume of services provided by the university to its graduates, as well as to inform the university’s graduates of the initiative to be launched and the expected results from it, and to inform them of the extent of development witnessed by the university and the state, which develops them a sense of belonging to their prestigious university and their lofty state, as well as communication with Prof . Dr. Ayman Farid, Director of the Employment Center at the university, to highlight the center's role in supporting university graduates by providing them with job opportunities.

In a related context, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, said that raising the barriers between natural sciences and social sciences is one of the necessary pillars in developing the university’s vision in line with Egypt’s 2030 strategic vision. Egypt’s gateway to the world to spread the past, present and future of the Egyptian state, stressing that students have a key role in the community contribution and in carrying out their role in promoting the cultural and civilization of Egypt within the framework of the initiative to return the favor, stressing that the initiative came its idea through the creativity of the faculty members supervising the scientific committee and enthusiasm It is implemented by the students of the Union and is sponsored by the Faculty and adopted by the university administration in order to achieve the desired goals of making an effective contribution to the country.
