The student Yasser Mohammed Eid, Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, won the first place in the 2019 ideal student competition, which was held at Fayoum University under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdul Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Ashraf Rahil, President of Fayoum University, in the presence of Dr. Khalid Atallah, Vice President for Education and Students Affairs, and Dr. Taya Abdul Latif, Advisor to the Minister of Education.
Three students from Faculty of Al Alsun attended the competition, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Ezzat, the University President, and Prof. Dr. Abdul Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs. The students of the competition were asked to assume that they were selected for the presidency of the Council of Ministers. Accordingly, a work plan was developed in place for five ministries, including education, higher education and foreign affairs, taking into account Egypt's national security, its relation to African national security and the agenda of Egypt 2030, and the African Agenda 2063.
The student, Yasser Mohammed Eid, said that his participation in the activities of the ideal student competition assured him that there is no impossible for any student; work, perseverance and self-confidence are the most important weapons that can be relied on during the university education stage and the start to practical life after graduation.
Yasser continued his speech, stressing that his academic life inside the walls of Faculty of Al Alsun has resulted in his winning the title this year. He went on to say that he aspires to work at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs after graduating.
