An inspection tour of the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs to follow up the Faculty of Pharmacy exams

Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, toured the Faculty of Pharmacy to inspect the first semester exams, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Amani Osama, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Rehab Othman, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Dr. Rola Melad, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Khaled Abu Shanab, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs.

Dr. Saoud, praised the keenness of the Faculty administration to implement all precautionary measures to limit the spread of the Corona virus, apply social distancing within the committees, and commit to wearing masks all the time, whether students or observers, as well as measuring temperatures for all students and workers before entering the examination committees, and continuous sterilization of committees and corridors before each period Exams, in order to ensure the safety of students and workers, to ensure that the vaccine is received, and to take all necessary precautions.

         
   
         

Prof. Dr. Amani Osama, Dean of the Faculty, explained that the exams for the first semester, which will continue until 3/2/200, are under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, amid strict precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the Corona virus and its variants, according to the decisions recently taken by the Supreme Council of Universities headed by Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which stresses the keenness to take all necessary measures to ensure the proper conduct and safety of all elements of the examination process.

Prof. Dr. Amani Osama, Dean of the Faculty, added that the number of students taking the first semester exams is 3000, and a number of precautionary measures were taken to avoid the spread of the Corona virus, starting with measuring the temperature with thermal sensors remotely for all students, workers and faculty members before entering the Faculty. In addition to providing safe distances and placing indicative posters for parking spaces to measure the temperature before entering the exam, and not overcrowding and distancing during the entry and exit of students from the college gate and exam panels, and following up on that throughout the day, as well as allocating a room for isolation in the Faculty during the exams period, with an emphasis on the commitment to wearing medical masks, and purifying committees between periods Exam and exams in well-ventilated places and safe distances of one and a half meters between the students’ seats during the exam, making different paths for entry and exit with indicative signs for this so that the entry path is different from the exit path, evacuating students after the exam to prevent gatherings and periodic continuous sterilization of exam places and paths throughout the exam period.

Proof of receiving the coronavirus vaccine is also verified before entering the exam panel.
