The start of the exam marathon at the Faculty of Nursing

The end of the first semester exams began at the Faculty of Nursing, Ain Shams University for the academic year 2021/2022, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Sahar Musa Suleiman, Dean of the Faculty, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sahar Yassin, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Seham Gerges, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research.

Prof. Dr. Sahar Moussa explained that the exams are held for 2486 male and female students for all undergraduate and graduate levels and will continue until February 3 next, with two days per week for each group divided into two shifts per day to maintain social distancing.

Prof. Dr. Sahar confirmed that the Faculty has developed a proactive integrated insurance plan to confront the repercussions of the Corona virus and maintain the safety and security of its students, through 5 high committees represented in the committee to follow up on the examination process, a committee for medical care, a committee for guarding and security, a committee for various services and a committee to follow up on precautionary measures, noting that this The committees were formed under the chairmanship and membership of the Faculty vice-deans in cooperation with the heads of departments, heads of controls, and the various departments and units of the Faculty.

Dr. Sahar said that the task of these committees is to overcome all obstacles in front of the students and to successfully complete the examination process while achieving the maximum levels of safety for the students of the faculty during that period. Her Excellency has put in place a package of preventive precautionary measures to ensure the safety of all participants in the examination work, including students, faculty members and faculty staff.

Also Dr. Sahar, reviewed these measures included publishing the precautionary measures for all students on the college website, WhatsApp groups, on the college bulletin board and the stands, in addition to the regular passage of the college leaders and the precautionary committee team to check on the progress of the exam process, and the need to adhere to specific dates for services provided to students other than exam dates as well as dates Entry and exit of cars to facilitate exit and entry paths for students.

She assigned several teaching assistants at the gates to direct students to the examination committees, with the presence of medical supervision and legal affairs on a permanent basis in the college, and the presence of workers at the door of the examination committees with alcohol and masks.

Develop a plan with specific dates for periodic cleaning and sterilization between the committees, daily spraying of all college buildings, and setting mechanisms for the work of the various controls and photographing exams with specific dates on the day of the exam to ensure the confidentiality of exams.
