The Faculty of Archeology prepares for the first semester exams 2021-2022AD

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and the presidency of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Al-Damaty, Dean of the Faculty, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hossam Tantawy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, the faculty is preparing to hold the end of the first semester exams for the academic year 2021-2022.

Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Al-Damaty said that the faculty is ready to hold the final exams for the first semester of the academic year 2021-2022, while taking the necessary precautionary measures to avoid infection with the Corona virus, explaining that the total number of first-year students enrolled in the first university level taking exams is 201 students distributed over five scientific programs; These are the ancient Egyptian antiquities, Islamic antiquities, Greek and Roman antiquities, archeology and excavations, and the management of museums and archaeological sites.

     
 
     

Prof. Dr. Hossam Tantawi, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, stated that the date set for the start of these exams is Saturday, January 15, 2022, AD, and will continue until Monday, January 31, 2022, AD, where the students of the various programs are tested according to the announced schedule. Halls 160, 170, 171.

Prof. Dr. Hossam Tantawi added that the Department of Education and Student Affairs has prepared exam schedules after coordination with the scientific departments and students, and it was announced three weeks before the date of the first exam, and that the standards, rules and specifications of the exam paper that were approved by the Faculty Council require the time available to answer with the time scheduled for the test, and the necessity of the questions measure the largest possible number of intended teaching and learning outcomes from the course, and for this, they will combine objective questions and short essays developed that measure higher skills.

On the other hand, Mr. Hossam Hosni, Secretary of the Faculty, said that the Examination Preparation and Organizing Committee had completed the preparation of the places needed to hold the exams, and the work of purifying and sterilizing them.
