In a resolution of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding the reformation of the committees concerned with the nomination of university presidents and deans of faculty and institutes, organizing its work, procedures and conditions for candidacy and criteria for comparison, Ain Shams University alerts faculty staff wishing to apply for the position of dean of a faculty or institute, the necessity of obtaining courses Candidacy for the job, and bring a recent status statement signed and stamped by the university and a copy of the national ID card and submit it at the University’s Training and Development Center to take the necessary action.

It has been decided that the fourth session will be held from February 13-15, 2022, for those who wish to nominate for the position of Dean of the Faculty or Institute to apply through the following link: https://forms.gle/fba3qow6JNeT4md58

The fifth paragraph of the above-mentioned resolution states, “The candidate must attend a training course that is held in one of the bodies determined by the Supreme Council of Universities to qualify for the job.

Attending these courses is one of the requirements for filling the position of Dean of a faculty/institute at the university, and the vacancy of these positions will be announced (Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Dean of the Faculty of Archeology) during this year.

It is worth mentioning that the courses include several axes represented in the development of leadership and executive skills, strategic planning, and diplomatic leadership.
