The administration of Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, the university’s vice presidents, faculty staff, and administrators sincerely congratulate His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, on the seventieth anniversary of the valiant Egyptian police and the anniversary of the January 25 revolution.

The university administration also congratulates the Ministry of Interior, led by Major General Mahmoud Tawfek, Minister of Interior, and the Supreme Council of the Valiant Egyptian Police; On the occasion of the Police Day, in which the sacrifices of the Egyptian police were evident in their response to the British occupation and their defense of land and honor in the city of Ismailia on January 25, 1952; Refusing to surrender to the British ultimatum to surrender their weapons and evacuate the governorate building, in an epic in which the Egyptian policemen wrote the most wonderful verses of sacrifice and redemption.

The university salutes the soldiers and police officers, who do their best to defend the security of every citizen and to combat terrorism and extremism, The heroes of its men fall as martyrs with the bullets of terrorism and meanness as they defend the borders of the homeland and its sanctities and the security of citizens.

The university administration prays to the Almighty, to preserve our beloved Egypt and to perpetuate the blessing of security, safety and peace to our beloved homeland, and to bless the homeland’s martyrs whether the army or police.
