Ain Shams University formed a large research team from the Faculty of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science and Engineering to speed up the manufacture of respirators, and the university also contributed, through one of the departments of the Innovation Center, in the design and implementation of sterilization gates, in addition to implementing innovative methods for sterilizing the buildings of faculties and hospitals of the university, and my workshops were also directed Sewing in university hospitals to cover the largest amount of hospital supplies in addition to the production of single-use protective masks according to the required standards.

Ain Shams University also participated in conducting clinical trials to confront the virus, as eight trials were recorded, some of which depend on some anti-viral drugs, and others for prevention, and some of them depend on research into the genetic makeup of the virus in Egypt to contribute to diagnosis, prevention and follow-up.
