The start of the English language and archaeological texts course at the Faculty of Archeology

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Eldamaty, Dean of the Faculty of Archeology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Shouki, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs and supervisor of the Environmental Affairs and Community Service Sector, the Center for Papyrological Studies and Inscriptions at the Faculty of Archeology, Ain Shams University, organized a course "English Language and Archaeological Texts", for students and specialists, and Fatima Hani, who specializes in English and holds a master's degree in science, lectured in it Linguistics and teacher at the British Council and Birltz

The content of this course focused on the trainee learning how to deal with, understand and derive information from archaeological English texts with their various specializations, in addition to the basic rules for reading and understanding English texts, and understanding archaeological texts easier and faster while improving students’ listening skills for archaeological lectures.

Students of faculties and departments of archeology in Egyptian universities

Departments of History and Civilization

Those interested in the archaeological and heritage field.

At the end of the course, the trainee will be granted an accredited certificate from the Faculty of Archeology, Ain Shams University. This comes within the framework of the plan of the Environmental Affairs and Community Service Sector at the Faculty of Archeology to provide services to researchers, specialists and lovers of archeology and to take advantage of the mid-year vacation.
