The Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, announced the successful activation of the electronic examination system, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mona Abdel Aal, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the university, and supervised by Prof. Dr. Nasser Abdel Aal, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Khaled El-Beltagy, Head of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the Faculty, Dr. Elham Badr, Deputy Head of the Unit.
Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, said that as part of the Faculty’s digital transformation process, a measurement and evaluation unit entrusted with automating exams was established, and a training team was formed on electronic exam systems with the Qorrect system and the Remark system to correct electronic exams, and through this team several workshops were held. Training for faculty members and the supporting staff within the various scientific departments on these systems, and after the workshops, the Semitic Languages Department, the Hebrew Language Division conducted an electronic exam with the Qorrect system; Noting that it was the first activation of the electronic examination halls in the Faculty, which were equipped with the full support and supervision of the university and the Ministry of Higher Education. These halls are equipped at the highest level with the latest digital technologies and can accommodate more than 700 students. The Faculty of Nursing exams were also hosted to hold the faculty’s electronic exams for a period of two weeks, and many departments conducted the electronic correction of their final exams on the Remark system.
She also announced the success of the international exam for the proficiency of the Japanese language, which is being held worldwide, and a number of partnerships with international organizations are currently being discussed to conduct exams inside the faculty halls.
She emphasized that the faculty administration spares no effort in order to raise the level of the educational process in accordance with the latest international standards to match the major international universities in using the latest technological means to serve the faculty and university children and educational organizations worldwide at the same time.
