Ain Shams University organizes a visit to the National Museum of Civilization for Children's University

Ain Shams University organized a trip for Children's University students to the new Museum of Civilization; This is within the activities of the Children's University, which is organized by Ain Shams University during the period 5-17 February 2022, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Saqr, President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector at Ain Shams University, Dr. Noha Al-Rafei, Coordinator of the Child University at Ain Shams University, and Dr. Gina Elfeki, Executive Director of the Program, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Amani Hanafi, former Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education.

         
   
         

Where they listened to an explanation from Prof. Dr. Osama El-Shazly the professor of orthopedic surgery, writer and novelist. The children toured the museum, during which they learned about the history of Egyptian civilization since prehistoric times, then the beginning of the dynastic era and the ancient, medieval and modern states, through the period of Alexander the Great, the Fatimids, the Mamluks, the French and English campaign, and then the era of Muhammad Ali. They also learned about the beginning of agriculture in ancient Egypt, writing and its development.

In addition to visiting the Royal Mummies Hall, the children expressed their happiness and pride in what they saw of Egypt's civilization throughout history and took souvenir photos.
