Child University Activities in the Faculty of Science

The Faculty of Science at Ain Shams University received the children participating in the activities of the Children's University, which was organized by Ain Shams University during the period 5-17 February 2022, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Saqr, President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector at Ain Shams University, and Dr. Noha Al-Rafei, Coordinator of the Child University at Ain Shams University and Deputy Director of the Grants and Projects Department, and Dr. Gina Elfeki, Executive Director of the Program.

         
     
         

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ragaa Al-Sutohi, the Dean of the Faculty met the children, and was interested in interacting with them and the parents, and memorial photos were taken. His Excellency was keen to provide all means of support to the Children’s University, believing in the importance of its influential role in Egypt’s development map, where the Faculty of Science was identified as a gathering place for children. and parents throughout the period of the activities of the University of the Child.

Dr. Noha Al-Rafei stated that the activities of the day were under the supervision of Dr. Karim Suleiman, a faculty member in the faculty and the coordinator of the faculty in the project, pointing out that according to the plan of the Academy of Scientific Research, the Faculty of Sciences completed the curriculum for mathematics and physics for children in the fourth and fifth stages, and the interaction was based on group and interactive activities.

She pointed out that the day began with dividing the children into two groups and an introductory lecture, then they headed to the various laboratories of the faculty and exchanged ideas and information with the specialized faculty members from the faculty.
