Vice President of Ain Shams University for Graduate Studies and Research meets the President of the European Society of Oncology

Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Graduate Studies and Research, received Dr. Martin Piccard, President of the European Society of Oncology, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hesham Al-Ghazali, Professor of Oncology, Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, and Head of the Egyptian Research Center MASRI

The meeting was held at Al-Zaafaran Palace, with the aim of discussing ways of cooperation between the two sides and the new in the field of oncology treatments, especially in light of the expected twinning between them.

         
   
         

Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh confirmed that an Egyptian research center at Ain Shams University contributes to conducting applied scientific research in the field of diagnosis and treatment of tumors, as well as launching areas of diagnostic genetic research, which helps activate the personalized medicine system, pointing out that since the inauguration of the Ain Shams Medicine Research Center, the university has sought to cooperate with many From international medical authorities and institutions to reach new horizons serving the health care system in Egypt and the Arab world.

Also, Dr. Martin praised the efforts of Ain Shams University, the Faculty of Medicine and an Egyptian research center in supporting scientific and research development in the medical field at a time when the world is in dire need to provide everything new to human health.

         
   
         

Prof. Dr. Hesham Al-Ghazali indicated that the Ain Shams Medical Research Center is currently interested in the localization of genetic and informational solutions for oncology patients in Egypt, as well as the activation of vaccines for some types of cancer.

The meeting was followed by honoring of Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh to Dr. Martin Picard and gifting her the university medal, then a tour inside the Saffron Palace and a review of a part of the ancient history of the palace.

Then Prof. Dr. Hesham Al-Ghazali accompanied Dr. Martin for a visit to an Egyptian research center and a tour of university hospitals.
