Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Mamdouh El-Damaty, Dean of the Faculty of Archeology, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Shawky, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research and supervisor of the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector, the Faculty of Archeology, Ain Shams University, started its cultural activity for the second semester of the academic year 2021 -2022, with a lecture organized by the Center for Papyrological Studies and Inscriptions headed by Prof. Dr. Noha Salem on the manuscript of the Explanation of Trusts and Beliefs by Saadia Gaon: Manuscript from the Cairo Ginza.
The lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr. Nazik Ibrahim Abdel-Fattah, Professor of Semitic Languages, Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University and supervisor of the Semitic Papyri Division at the Center for Papyrus Studies and Inscriptions at the Faculty of Archeology. The session was moderated by Prof. Dr. Ali Abdel Halim, Professor and Head of the Egyptian Archeology Department at the Faculty of Archeology.
The event was attended by a number of specialists from the Ministry of Information, in addition to students of the master's program for papyrus studies and Semitic inscriptions at the Faculty of Archeology.
