120 male and female students from the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences at Ain Shams University participated as teams in the semi-finals of the international competition Google Hash Code, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs and Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Nagwa Badr, Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, under the supervision of Dr. Dina Al-Turki, Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences.
Prof. Dr. Nagwa Badr explained that the competition is held in all countries at the same time. The participation of the Faculty of Computer team from the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Ain Shams University came in an atmosphere of enthusiasm, and it is a first step to qualify for the activities of the international competition Google Hash Code. It is a group programming competition from Google for students and professionals around the world.
Prof. Nagwa Badr thanked Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, for encouraging students to participate in international competitions and providing them with all means of support.
