A work plan and timetable for student activities at the Faculty of Archeology

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Al-Damaty, Dean of the Faculty, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hossam Tantawi, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and the implementation of Mr. Tamer Tharwat Al-Assal, Director of Student Welfare Department, the Faculty of Archeology announced a work plan and timetable for student activities for the 2021-2022 academic year, specifically during the period from mid-February to mid-March 2022.

Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Al-Damaty, Dean of the Faculty, said that the announced plan is limited to public lectures and training workshops that are characterized by diversity, and the aim of which is to work on forming the student’s integrated, balanced personality, and to help them bring about positive changes, take responsibility and prepare them to participate in the burdens of life. His Excellency revealed that this plan is the first that will be followed by other plans for various activities that will be announced in due course.

Prof. Dr. Hossam Tantawi, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, said that the plan is divided into two groups; The first is the public lectures that start on February 28 with a lecture on “Egyptian Civilization and its Global Meaning (Experience from France), and conclude with a lecture on March 16 on “Psychological Immunity (Concept, Types and Keys)”, and the second set of training workshops that start on March 2 with one on first aid. The workshops will conclude with a self-defense session on March 17. He added that all lectures and workshops will be held in Hall 160 on the first floor of the faculty.
