Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Mamdouh El-Damaty, Dean of the Faculty of Archeology, held a meeting with Eng. Mahmoud Kandil, Project Manager for Institutional Development at the Ministry of Communications. The meeting was attended by Prof. Ahmed El-Shouki, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, and the Acting Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, And Professor Hossam Hosni, Acting Secretary of the Faculty.
The meeting dealt with ways of cooperation between the Faculty of Archeology and the Ministry of Communications in the field of raising the efficiency of staff and faculty members in the Faculty and spreading the culture of digital transformation in the Faculty in line with the state's orientations towards digitization and transformation towards electronic services and data management and protection.
Prof. Dr. Mamdouh El-Damaty stated that the Faculty is determined to spread the culture of digital transformation for all its faculty members, assistant staff and administrators, and to work to raise their efficiency in the field of administrative work and data management to keep pace with the state's vision of Egypt 2030.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Shouki, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs and the Acting Vice Dean for Community Service Affairs, confirmed that the faculty is ready to start organizing these courses, as the faculty includes 64 faculty staff and teaching assistants who will be divided into two batches, and the faculty will seek to adopt these courses within Faculty promotion requirements.
Prof. Dr. Hossam Hosni, acting secretary of the faculty, stated that the faculty includes 50 employees, and they will be divided into two batches to raise the efficiency of the faculty's staff to benefit from these courses and apply them in practice, and strive to provide fast and accurate electronic services.
