The conclusion of “She Innovates” competition at the Faculty of Girls

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty of Girls and coordinated by Dr. Aya Radi, Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Office at the Faculty, the curtain has been drawn on the finals of the “She Innovates” competition in its second edition 2022, which qualifies for the Ain Shams Innovates competition, by presenting the contestants with their projects in its final form and presenting it to the members of the judging committee, which was formed from:

It is worth noting that the projects and innovative ideas of the contestants varied, aimed at solving community problems and developing it primarily. Researcher Marwa Al-Azzazi (Assistant Teacher - Department of Biochemistry and Nutrition) presented a research product to support children’s health. The product is extracted from the fenugreek plant that can be used as a nutritional supplement, which can help in reducing the symptoms of hyperactivity in children, according to laboratory studies.

In the field of energy, student Shorouk Lutfi (first level - physics program) presented a new design for a windmill to increase the production of electrical energy.

In support of people of determination, the team of geniuses (Hadeer Imad Nabih - Amani Abdel Basir - Najia Arafa Abdul Rahman - Fourth Division Education Technology) presented an electronic application design to teach people of determination in the preparatory stage one of the programming languages.

As for “Nabd Al-Tahadi” team (Arwa Mustafa - First Division, Educational Physics), they presented an idea to overcome learning difficulties for children with determination that depend on human development.

In the context of supporting Egyptian families, reducing expenses and preserving the environment, three teams from the Garment and Textile Department presented innovative ideas for recycling spent clothing and leather and making new unique pieces based on different technologies.

As for my team of younger programmers (Karim Hassan - Hadeer Imad Nabih - 4th Division of Education Technology), unofficial pink (Maryam Ibrahim - Etiquette of History) whose goal was to support their fellow students in the study. As for the second team, its goal was to raise the level of the students by raising their efficiency with free courses that he could provide more and organize them in an innovative way to support their colleagues
