The Training and Development Center at Ain Shams University, in cooperation with the Evalue Foundation (the institution for assessors and arbitrators for programs provided by the European Union), is organizing the Erasmus Plus Program Experts’ Day in cooperation with France and Francophone countries, on March 23, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research.

Prof. Dr. Neven Assem, Director of the Training and Development Center at the university, said that the activities of the day, which will be held online from 2 pm - 6.30 pm Cairo time, aim to raise awareness of the new programs of Erasmus Plus and Intr-Africa to increase opportunities to submit proposals for joint projects with Europe and Africa, based on the directives of Prof. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, to support international projects and increase funding opportunities provided by the European Union, especially the funding allocated to support Africa.

She indicated that the events will be opened with the speech of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and the words of the President of EvalUE, and after the opening speeches, there will be contributions from Dr. Mathilde Begrand, Head of the Higher Education Department of Erasmus Agency at the Education Authority in France, in addition to the participation of experts from the European Union and Africa. The event concludes with an open discussion among the participants.
