The Faculty of Pharmacy discusses the human MrgD receptors

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Amani Osama Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Maha Nasr, Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy and Director of the Department of International Relations and Academic Cooperation at the Faculty, and within the framework of a series of weekly scientific symposia held by the Faculty of Pharmacy at the university during the academic year 2021/2022, the Faculty of Pharmacy organized a seminar on “Human MrgD Futures”, where the presentation was presented by Dr. Diana Magdy is a teacher in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Cairo.

         
   
         
                           

The seminar dealt with information about the properties of these receptors and their pathways of action, with a review of research published in this regard in various international journals on the relationship of these receptors to sensory diseases, heart diseases and some types of cancer.

The seminar was presented via Zoom application and by displaying it on the interactive screens in the stands, in the presence of a number of faculty members and college students.
