The Faculty of Pharmacy discusses leadership in the field of hospital pharmacy

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Amani Osama Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Prof. Dr. Reem Al-Kabariti, Director of Alumni Department at Ain Shams University and General Supervisor of Ain Shams University Alumni Association, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Maha Nasr, Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy and Director of the Department of International Relations and Academic Cooperation at the Faculty, and within the framework of the series of seminars that the Faculty holds during the academic year 2021/2022, a seminar was held on “Leadership in the field of hospital pharmacy”, during which Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Dayem, the pharmacist at the National Guard Hospital in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the founder of the Drugs and Poisons Information Center in the same hospital, and a graduate of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University in 2007.

         
   
         

The seminar aimed to enrich the research and knowledge experiences of faculty members and students, and to qualify students for the labor market in light of the presence of many new fields of work. It also included advice on working in the field of hospital pharmacy and in the field of patient counseling and education.

It was held via zoom application by displaying it on the interactive screens in the stands, in the presence of a number of faculty members and college students.
