A seminar at the Faculty of Girls discusses the population increase and its impact on development in the light of “2 are Enough” program

The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Faculty of Girls, Ain Shams University, in cooperation with the Social Solidarity Unit at the university, organized a seminar entitled "Population increase and its impact on development in light of 2 are Enough Program", under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty of Girls, and Prof. Heba Adel, Vice Dean for Community Service and Development Affairs.

         
   
         

The seminar was presented by Prof. Dr. Amr Hassan, former National Population Council Rapporteur and Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Al-Qasr Al-Ainy, Prof. Ahmed Younes, program coordinator, two is enough.

It was opened by Prof. Heba Barakat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, who emphasized the importance of such awareness seminars for female students because they are future mothers and hope for the advancement of society and the family.

She stressed the importance of family planning and determining the number of children they wish to have in line with their health, economic and social status, in order to reach a healthy, economic community capable of facing various challenges.

The seminar was attended by many professors, students and staff of the faculty and expressed their happiness and benefit from this symposium, which seeks to take care of family health, reproductive health and proper planning to build a strong family free of diseases that affect the mother due to repeated pregnancy several times in a row.
