The Faculty of Education celebrates the honorees of Dr. Fakhry Abdel Salam competition

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Hazem Rashid, Dean of the Faculty of Education, the Physics Department of the Faculty organized a celebration for the honorees in the Prof. Dr. Fakhry Abdel Salam competition for the best master’s and doctoral thesis that achieved distinguished international publishing standards, in order to encourage scientific research for young researchers.

         
   
         

The celebration activities were attended by Prof. Dr. Abdel Nasser Rashad, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Safaa Shehata, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Radwan Hammouda, Vice Dean for Environmental Affairs and Community Service. Each of them gave a speech in which they praised the meeting of generations, encouraging young researchers and publishing the spirit of distinguished scientific competition. The activities of the ceremony were conducted by the students of the Physics Department and addressed the importance of science, scientists and the biography of Professor Dr. Fakhry Abdel Salam because of their great impact on the spirit of persistence and perseverance in scientific research.

During the celebration, the researcher, Mohamed Mostafa Ahmed Ismail, who received the best international publication of his master’s thesis, was honored. The supervisory committee for the winning thesis and the jury were also honored. Prof. Dr. Noha Fakhry, the daughter of the late Prof. Dr. Fakhry Abdel Salam, was honored for her great efforts in establishing this The event included a number of technical sessions for the students of the department.

         
   
         

At the conclusion of the celebration, it was recommended that attention should be paid to distinguished international publishing, which works to raise the efficiency of scientific messages in order to raise the status of Ain Shams University among its peers from Egyptian universities with regard to international publishing.
