His Excellency explained that Ain Shams University offers opportunities to grant a professional diploma offered in geographic information systems and remote sensing in cooperation with the National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences, as it qualifies graduates of geography, engineering, science, and education and provides them with the opportunity to train on GIS applications. It also gives students from other universities the opportunity to obtain a diploma.

He pointed to the importance of scientific circles, as they did with regard to basic chemistry, physics and mathematics, hoping that they would extend to other sciences such as geography, literature and education so that many researches would be conducted together to benefit together and raise the status and value of scientific research.
