The Faculty of Nursing at Ain Shams University organized a workshop entitled “Cinical Research”, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and supervised by Prof. Dr. Sahar Musa, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Seham Gerges, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and the organization of Prof. Dr. Hayam Refaat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and director of the workshop, in the presence of the university’s medical sector, which includes (the Faculty of Nursing, Medicine, Pharmacy and Dentistry, and the Department of Zoology and Invertebrates at the Faculty of Women) in cooperation with the Diabetes Education Center (EDC) in Atlanta, America.
The workshop was attended by Dr. Muhammad Eid, Vice President of the Center for the Development of Scientific Research in America, who talked about how to write scientific research for the medical sector correctly and applied scientific research in theory and how to implement it during the workshop in practice, as well as how to write scientific protocols and statistics. He also discussed during the symposium the importance of knowing the results of scientific research and its application in society and how to review scientific research on international websites and ways to criticize it, and also review how we have reached scientific research to the world and finally explained what are the indicators of the success of scientific research.
