Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Safi, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and the care of Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Shafei, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and coordination from Dr. Mostafa Mahdi, Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Office at the faculty, with the management of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at the university, The introductory symposium was held at the Ain Shams Innovate Competition, in the auditorium of Prof. Dr. Ali Younes.
It was attended by a number of members of the faculty’s teachinf assistants and a group of students. Dr. Islam Adly, Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at the university, and Professor Lubna Mahmoud, Director of Projects Management at the University’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center lectured on it.
The meeting was started by Dr. Karim Wali El Din, Deputy Director of the Innovation Office, by welcoming the guests and attendees.
Then, Dr. Islam Adly gave an introductory presentation on innovation and entrepreneurship, mechanisms for establishing start-ups, ways to find innovative ideas, and the most important training courses and specialized workshops offered by the Innovation Center to help achieve this.
Then he moved to talk about the Ain Shams Innovate competition, and motivate the attendees to participate in it, by talking about the support provided by the university administration in order to help its students create and find innovative ideas and support them in their development and help them establish start-up companies. He also talked about ways to participate in the award, and rewards assigned to the winners, and then answered the questions posed by some of the attendees.
After the symposium ended, the activities of the open day for the pioneers of innovation clubs Iclub were launched at the Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University. The benefits and advantages obtained by those who join this activity, and new students who joined the activity were welcomed through the announcement, and assigned to the tasks assigned to them according to the results of the personal interview held with them by the board of directors of the activity.
