Celebration of the Egyptian Women's Day at the Faculty of Girls, in the presence of the Vice President for Education and Students and the Dean of the Faculty

Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, inaugurated the celebration of International Women’s Day, which was organized by the Faculty of Girls under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University in the context of supporting the role of women and being half of society, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef Dean College of Girls, Prof. Heba Barakat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Mai Helmy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Hind Al-Hilali, Director of the Women’s Support Unit and Combating Violence against Women at Ain Shams University, the able artist Nihal Anbar, and a group of faculty, staff and students.

During his speech, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, expressed his happiness to be at the Faculty of Girls, on this special day that coincides with the celebration of Mother's Day.

         
   
         

He added that the College for Girls is unique, pointing out that the goal when establishing the college was to provide a place for female students wishing to learn in isolation from the students, in line with the thought of some families who did not prefer mixing, but the development of this thought, and the college’s primary goal became to spread the culture of empowering women And clarifying its role in achieving sustainable development goals and its role in society, so that college graduates become ambassadors of this thought within the community to which they belong.

He praised the role of the Faculty of Girls in preparing future mothers and developing the Egyptian mother's thought to contribute to the graduation of young people who meet the demands of the Egyptian state.

Prof. Dr. Abdul-Fattah Saoud pointed out that the Faculty of Girls represents a model for interdisciplinary education, which the university adopts, pointing to the scientific departments that the university undertakes to achieve constructive communication between similar scientific disciplines in the different faculties, stressing the university's keenness to make full use of all the cadres within it.

While Dr. Amira Youssef congratulated the woman on the occasion of Mother's Day, stressing her lofty position and considering her an example of sacrifice, struggle and struggle for the elevation of her children and her country throughout the ages.

         
   
         

Dr. Amira Youssef emphasized the role of Egypt's leading mothers in supporting family building that shapes societies, in addition to being the first teacher for children and their important impact on preserving young people from extremist and extremist ideas and forming their personality on the basis of sound education.

During the celebration, a number of prominent women figures at the university level were honored.
