The symposium dealt with the importance of "objectivity of news coverage, the difference between academic work and the needs of modern journalism, and the importance of linking them." The student has the ability to analyze and describe the event in a sound manner while avoiding making mistakes, and this may lead to social strife or political problems. Therefore, it is necessary to link the university with its graduates and the press institutions so that the student receives practical training on the ground on news and technological skills, which increases its abilities and journalistic skills.
He also welcomed conducting practical training and seminars for students, as well as reviewing the role of the electronic press in promoting news that contradicts the traditions and customs of society, as well as addressing topics in a way that contradicts the professional ethics of newspapers.
