Activities of the Scientific Day of the Papyrological and Inscriptions Center to celebrate the Arabic Manuscript Day

The Papyrological Studies and Inscriptions Center at the Faculty of Archeology organized a celebration on the occasion of the Arabic Manuscript Day, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh El-Damaty, Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Dr. Iman Naseer, Director of the Center, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Nader Abdel Dayem, Head of the Department of Islamic Archeology, and a number of specialists and those interested in Islamic heritage, as well as students of the Department of Islamic Archeology and postgraduate students.

         
   
         

Prof. Abbas Zawach, Director of Studies at the French Institute of Oriental Archeology in Cairo, Dr. Ahmed El-Shouki, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Archeology for Postgraduate Studies and Research, supervisor of the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector, Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim, a teacher of Islamic archeology, and Dr. Ghada Nagy, a teacher of Islamic archeology, gave lectures on the importance of manuscripts and the necessity of Preserving them in addition to showing the importance of the scientific and heritage aspect of manuscripts.
