Celebrating the graduation of a new class of the Faculty of Nursing

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Sahar Moussa, Dean of the Faculty, attended the graduation ceremony of the Bachelor's, Master's and Doctorate degrees at the University's Faculty of Nursing, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hayam Refaat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Sahar Yassin, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Reem Al-Kabariti, Director of Alumni Associations Department, faculty members and the faculty’s supporting body.

         
   
         

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, congratulated the attendees on the occasion of the advent of the holy month of Ramadan. He also congratulated the Faculty of Nursing on graduating a new batch, stressing the excellence of the faculty, and that nursing is the backbone of the medical system.

         
   
         

He added that it is necessary to work on increasing the number of graduates while maintaining the same quality of educational service provided, especially in light of the need of the medical system in Egypt and the Arab world for graduates of this distinguished faculty.

         
     
         

He praised what the faculty had achieved under the conscious management led by a. Dr.. Sahar Moussa, the dean of the faculty and the deputies, with the participation of the faculty members.

As confirmed by A. Dr.. Abdul Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, said that the Faculty of Nursing is a mainstay in the medical process, pointing out that the faculty is one of the most disciplined and committed facultys of the university, and its administration and students are distinguished by their excellence, as it is one of the best performing facultys and represents a role model in the educational process. Dr.. Abdel Fattah Saud, the performance of a. Dr.. Sahar Musa during the period of her deanship of the faculty and during her deanship of the faculty.

He also valued the effective participation of the Faculty of Nursing in the plan set by the university administration to deal with the Corona pandemic, whether at the level of hospitals or the precautionary measures that were taken, stressing the importance of the students of the Faculty of Nursing in the labor market for their graduation from a distinguished university that is keen to provide the best possible educational service.

Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, in his speech, congratulated the graduates and the parents who did their best to reach their children for this day, explaining that when a person enters the work cycle, he will remember that the university days are the best days and he will realize the extent of his family’s trouble with him, and that it is fortunate for them that there is a management with this activity and determination that was able to A boom is taking place at Ain Shams University at all levels.

Prof. Dr. Sahar Moussa welcomed the audience at the Faculty of Nursing, this lofty edifice that was built 40 years ago on the latest modern education systems to participate in the graduation celebration of my batch (2018/2019, 2019/2020), stressing the university administration's keenness to participate in all its faculty faculties in graduating new cadres. Prof. Dr. Sahar Moussa said that she is the first female faculty graduate to assume the position of dean, and this came during the Corona crisis, but under the wise and conscious leaders of the university, the crisis was dealt with all skill and wisdom. She addressed a speech to the graduates urging them to continue learning and acquiring more skills in order to keep pace with the rapid development in the medical field.

She also thanked the faculty administration, deputies, faculty members, workers and administrators, the organizing committee of the ceremony, and the heads of departments who had a great role during the Corona pandemic, which the university administration appreciates.

Prof. Dr. Reem Al-Kabariti thanked the university administration headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini for the continuous support of the Alumni Association, wishing everyone the beginning of a new life linked to the university, as the Alumni Association will continue to support them and their ideas at all times.
