Recommendations of the sectors in the 10th annual scientific conference of Ain Shams University

The most important recommendations of the humanities and social sciences sector at the tenth annual scientific conference of Ain Shams University, entitled "The University and Building Humans... Towards the New Republic", which was reviewed by Prof. Dr. HayBusinessam Wahba, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Commerce for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs and Sector Rapporteur during the closing session of the conference.

         
   
         

The most important recommendations of the medical sector were the tenth annual scientific conference of Ain Shams University, entitled "The University and Building the Person... Towards the New Republic", which was reviewed by Prof. Dr. Osama Mansour, Vice Dean of the College of Medicine for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs, and Sector Rapporteur, during the closing session of the conference

         
   
         

Whereas, the most prominent recommendations of the Women's Support and Anti-Violence Unit Conference, which was held within the activities of the tenth annual scientific conference of Ain Shams University, entitled "The University and Building Humans... Towards the New Republic", which was reviewed by Prof. Dr. Hind Al-Hilali, Director of the Unit, during the closing session of the conference.

         
     
         

As for the Engineering and Technological Sciences sector, the most important recommendations were reviewed by Prof. Dr. Rasha Ismail, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and Sector Rapporteur, during the closing session of the conference.

         
     
         

The most important recommendations that resulted from the conference of the Middle East Research Center and Future Studies "Ain Shams University and its role in the Egyptian-Arab societies 1950-2020" within the framework of the university's celebrations of the seventy years of its establishment.

The conference, which was held by the Middle East Research Center on March 30-31, resulted in a set of important and substantive recommendations that are in the interest of the university and education in the Arab Republic of Egypt, as follows:

1-Documenting all data and documents related to the university, for example:

(a) Collecting data on the numbers of university students since 1950-2020.

(b) Counting the number of incoming students at the bachelor's, bachelor's, and postgraduate levels.

(c) Sending letters to the faculties’ representatives for student affairs to make this inventory based on the faculties’ documents.

2- Developing an inventory of the university's pioneers and prominent figures in all fields.

3-Upload all MA and PhD theses on the Internet and the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, which totals 173,000 theses.

4- Compiling the documents and regulations of the university, colleges and centers.

5- Inclusion of the 17 sustainable development goals within the curricula and research plan of departments in all faculties, in order to improve the university's ranking at the global level

6- Making decisions by adopting modern administrative methods such as the ISO 14001 environmental management system.

7- Developing the university education system with the latest technological methods.

8- Forming an advisory council in all disciplines from the university’s pioneers to propose solutions and solve problems, to be held periodically on a regular basis.

Prof. Dr. Ashraf Mounis, Director of the Center and General Rapporteur of the Conference, reviewed these recommendations during the closing ceremony of the tenth scientific conference of the university, which was held on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of its establishment under the title "The University as an Anchor of Development… Towards the New Republic", under the auspices of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University and President of the Conference, Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.
