A delegation of Ain Shams University students is participating in the World Championships in Fin Swimming for Universities in Italy, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs. In the first day of the championship in the 50-meter double race, the student Fatima Ayman won a bronze medal, and student Mahmoud Walid won a bronze medal in the 400-mono race.
The competition continues under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tamer Rady, Advisor to the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Mr. Muhammad Al-Khatib, Assistant Secretary for Education and Student Affairs, Mr. Muhammad Al-Sharkawi, Director General of the General Administration of Youth Welfare, and Mr. Mohamed Hassan, Director of Sports Activity Department
It is worth noting that this year's World Universities Fin Swimming Championships is attended by 90 male and female students from 55 different universities representing 15 countries.
