2200 beneficiaries of the medical services of Ain Shams University Comprehensive Development Convoy in Minya Governorate

The activities of Ain Shams University's comprehensive development convoy in Minya governorate in Beni Mohamed Sultan village, which lasted for three days under the auspices of Major General Kassem Hussein, Governor of Minya and Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Ezzat, President of Ain Shams University, and organized by the community service and environment development sector. More than 2,200 beneficiaries received free medical and treatment services.

A number of prosthetic devices were also provided for people with special needs and the elderly. For the first time in Ain Shams University's convoys, the students of the Faculty of Specific Education at Ain Shams University drew a 100-meter wall in the village of Bani Mohammed Sultan.

On the awareness side, specialized teachers presented awareness seminars for school students and villagers in various fields, including patriotism, loyalty, belonging, the dangers of Internet addiction and how to get rid of it, problems of adolescence, good ways of remembering, art workshops in printing on clothes and clay, Production of poultry wealth and safe education, as well as awareness of families of children with special needs.

4146 illiterate individuals were interviewed, and an immediate survey was conducted for those who can read and write. Braille was also written for people with visual disabilities. Eight certificates were given to special abilities in cooperation and coordination between the General Authority for Literacy and Adult Education.
